Novel Reflection - "A Single Shard - Linda Sue Park"

Tree-ear, an orphan who lives under a bridge with a homeless man named Crane-man in Ch'ul'po. Tree-ear was fascinated with pottery. Everyday he spent his time watching master potter Min do his work, and sometimes he was so into it that he forgot his time to find food for Crane-man and himself. One day, Min finally takes Tree-ear as his helper, Tree-ear was so excited with it and he dream of one day that he could make a pot of his own. But he have to face many obstacles during his worktime with Min such as the exhausting work of digging clay, chopping woods until his hands blistered, having to face Min's hot temper. But all those things couldn't keep Tree-ear away from succeeding his dream, even if it would take his life to have it, even if taking a long, tiring journey to the Palace to show the Emperor Min's work, even if arriving at the Royal Palace with only a single shard of Min's work to show the Emperor.

The best book i've ever read!

There are many good books that i've read, but Maniac Magee is the best book that i've ever read. It's about a boy named Maniac and he hang out with both the people from the East End and the West End. The West End was where the African-American lived and the East End was where the white people live. His character showed that he was not a racist and he liked both places and it showed that even though, he's white, Maniac never sterotype the African-American people. So that's why i loved it.

Book I'm Reading

I am currently reading a book called "The Graveyard Book". The story starts with a man named Jack, he just killed three members of a family, and he is looking for the last victim, the fourth and youngest member of the family. Before Jack can even kill the little, young innocent child, the kid ignorantly escapes the house and toddles up the hill into a graveyard. There, he was discovered by many ghost who live in the graveyard. After a debate, a couple of old spirits adopt the boy, naming him Nobody Owens. The man Jack tracks his way up to the graveyard, where he met a graveyard caretaker named Silas told him that there was no toddler in the graveyard and that he should go away. The man Jack at last lost the trail of the little kid. Bod, short for Nobody, discovers and experiences many things as he grows up in the graveyard. He meets supernatural creatures such as: the Hound of Gods, a young witch who was drowned and burned by her people, human-eating ghouls, the mysterious treasure guarding Sleers, and a human girl named Scarlett. Bod learned how to Fade, Haunt, Dreamwalk, and many more things from the spirits in the graveyard and the humans outside of the graveyard. He grows up to be a curios boy and wanting to go meet the man who killed his family.
