       Alex Rider, an ordinary fourteen years old boy, who is strongly built, and lives with his uncle, Ian Rider, who works for the Royals & Generals bank. One day, Alex's uncle died in a car accident and now Alex's alone with his maid, Jack. One day, Alex decided to go to find his uncle's car and he realized that it was not the car accident that killed his uncle, it was the holes in his uncle's windows that made Alex suspicious about his uncle's death.

       Alex soon discovered that the Royals and Generals bank was not actually a bank, it is a Cooperation called MI6, a company for trained spies to work on missions to captured criminals with evil plans. Ian Rider was shot during his mission to spy on Herrod Sayle, an egyptian millionaire who lives in Port Tallon, England. MI6 had been suspecting Sayle when he said that he is going to give out a Stormbreaker, a state-of the art computer. Now, Alex is send on a mission to disguise as the winner of an event to try out the first Stormbreaker at the Sayle's Enterprise, and there are unexpected troubles that expects him at Sayle's Enterprise. The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong

But what they don't know is that Margaret, and Russell, also in the anti Edison Group, are working for the Edison Group to capture Chloe and her friends.

      Margaret and Russell killed Andrew and Gwen, a young witch who's also in the anti Edison Group. They captured Chloe and her friends back to the Edison Group's lab and they're about to get kill. But when Chloe got back to the lab, she met a spirit of a demi-demon who will help Chloe and her friends escape if Chloe agreed to free the demi-demon's soul, this is the only chance for Chloe to escape, but a demon is a demon and who might knows what will it do when Chloe frees it. Will Chloe be able to save her friends and escape this hell in the normal world? Read the book to find out! In my opinion, I think that this book is the best out of all three of the Darkest Powers series because it is suspenseful and it have an awesome plot.

The Awakening

          Chloe Saunders and her half-demon friend, Rachelle, and Tori was captured by the Edison Group. At the Edison Group, Chloe found out that not only Liz is dead, but Brady and Amber, both are previous patients from the Lyle House. Both Tori and Chloe escaped the Edison Group and went to find Derek and Simon, and as Chloe left, she had to witnessed her Aunt Lauren being tortured by an evil witch, Tori's mom.

          Chloe and Tori met up with Derek and Simon they were going to New York City to find Simon and Derek's dad. But soon, Chloe and Derek had to split up with Simon and Tori because Derek was going through a Change, and that means that he had to turn into a werewolf for a while. After Derek had finished his Change, Chloe and Derek went to New York City, but they encountered with a group of two werewolves and they were going to capture Derek to sacrifice him for the Pack. Will Derek and Chloe be able to get away from the werewolves and meet up with Simon and Tori? Read more to find out! I think this book is hilarious because it had some inside jokes that cracked me up and it is also very suspenseful.

The Summoning

Since Chloe Saunders was little, she was able to see ghosts. But her mother had given her a ruby necklace to block her from seeing ghosts. Now 15, Chloe had her puberty and her ability to see ghost came back. One day, she saw a burnt janitor coming for her at her own school and she was sent to Lyle House, a home for troubled teen because of freaking out. At Lyle House, she was told that she's schizophrenic. But it wasn't that Chloe's schizo that troubled her, the thing that troubled her was that Derek, a mysterious teenager also at Lyle House told Chloe that she's a necromancer. Chloe soon discovered that every teens in Lyle House had supernatural powers and Chloe was having a plan to run away with Derek and his brother Simon to find their missing dad. But the Lyle House's people found out and they're chasin Chloe and her friends with guns. Chloe soon found out that she and her friends had supernatural powers because they are experiments for a group called the Edison Group and that the Lyle House also belonged to them. She also found out that fail experiments like her friend Liz, will get kill. Will Chloe and her friends get away from the Edison Group? Read more to find out! I think that this book is suspenseful and interesting and i really like it because the characters in this book had supernatural powers.

Cirque Du Freak: Allies of the Night

Darren Shan, Harkat, and Mr.Crepsley are on a mission to hunt down the Vampaneze Lord and the vampaneze, during this mission, the vampaneze are attacking and killing many people at the hometown of Mr.Crepsley and Darren's crush , Debbie Hemlock. Now, the trio went back to Mr.Crepsley's hometown to get rid of the cold-blooded killers. While there, Darren was assigned to school by a mysterious person and at school, Darren met his old crush, Debbie Hemlock, now a Language Arts teacher. More people are getting killed and sucked dry, and Debbie had found out the truth about Darren and now she's helping them also. What's even more shocking is that Darren reunited with his old best friend, Steve Leonard and then they began to hunt the vampaneze. One night, Darren's team had found out the vampaneze's lore under the deep tunnels and are ready to finish them off when Steve revealed to be a half-vampaneze and had captured Debbie. Will Darren be able to save Debbie and kill the Vampaneze Lord? Read the book to find out and I'm sure you guys will love it! I think this book is a thrilling and suspenseful book and it will make you guys read non-stop!

Cirque Du Freak: Vampire Prince

Darren Shan, the vampire's assisstant had to face the Hall Of Death because he failed the Trials of Initiation. Scared to face death, Darren fled the Vampire Mountain but then he witnessed one thing that made him return to warn the vampires, his friend Kurda Smahlt, betrayed the vampire's clan and made friend with the vampaneze to take over the Vampire Mountain. Darren then warned the Vampire Princes and they had captured Kurda and prepared an attack for the vampaneze. Now, its time for Darren to regain his life by helping the vampires to fight the vampaneze and Darren got to use his own special technique, and that is to control an army of poisonous spiders with fatal venom to attack the vampaneze. But when he killed a vampaneze, he doesn't like the taste of it, and now he's about to spare the vampaneze's life. Will he help the vampaneze or his own type, the vampires? Read the book to check out for more details and I'm sure you'll like it.

Cirque Du Freak:Trials of Death

Darren Shan, a vampire's assistant, now he had to face the Trials of Death to prove himself to the vampire's world, and if he fails, he will have to face the Hall of Death. A place where vampires will get a stake through their chest, but there are more problems, the night of the Vampaneze Lord is coming and there will be a war between the vampires and the vampaneze. Darren succeded 3 out of 5 trials, and he failed on his 4th trial, where he had to kill 2 boars. Now, he had to be taken to the Hall of Death. Then Darren decided to sneak away but he then witnessed one thing that made him go back to Vampire Mountain, his vampire friend, Gavner Purl, was being stabbed through the chest by Kurda Smahlt, one of Darrens best friend. Will Darren be able to go back to Vampire Mountain and warn the vampires about Kurda teaming up with the vampaneze and are about to attack Vampire Mountain? Read the book to find out. I highly recommend everybody to read this book because it will make you guys keep flipping pages!
